La Vie En Rose: You look beautiful to me!
I'm pretty sure I was ahead of my time as a little girl:
I had this fantasy about a small device that would be programmed to tell me what the weather was, what I should wear, put an outfit together for me everyday, and even change my hairstyle ... Now I'm no Niko T. (#NikolaTesla, of course), but I may have predicted the future of women's beauty and fashion, at least if I have anything to say about it.
This apparent foreshadowing of technology was important because so many different looks, styles, and types where beautiful to me, I found it difficult to choose how I wanted to look everyday.
I loved short haircuts, long glamorous hair, hot sexy tight clothes, and flowy- moveable comfortable clothes. I loved jeans and I loved #YvesStLaurent. I can remember a Gloria Vanderbilt shorts set my mother bought me when I was about 5, it fit so cute, I would put it on and run into her bathroom with the full length mirror and play like I was a little model in those clothes.
As I got a little older, I enjoyed watching physical movement. I used to watch the swimmers on my team swim (#GOSTCLAIR), butterfly, and I would emulate the beauty of that stroke. I wasn't very fast, but man, I had the curve of my arm over my head down to a science.
As an adult, in fitness, I find so much beauty in the movement of a body, no matter it's shape or size.
If you happen to catch me in a session, or if you've ever worked with me, you'll catch me exclaiming, " BEAUTIFUL" a lot. A body moving in coordination with itself is beautiful to me.
If it isn't already very apparent, I find many things beautiful and I love spreading that feeling to other women.
As I continue to move forward and design the... well, DESIGNS, of Train Your Inner Warrior, I look forward to the opportunity to create more and more workouts, clothing, diet plans, and connection opportunities for women who fall into all sorts of different places where beauty is concerned.
To me, it is the power and strength to see ourselves as beautiful beings and, desire to enhance that beauty through self maintenance and preservation, which is the ultimate deciding factor between whether we are healthy mentally and physically, or not.
Oh, and by the way, I have had short hair, long hair, in between hair, I wear long flowy clothes and tight sexy ones, I have been curvy and muscly, and I have enjoyed them all! AND I just might be working on that little device which well help ALL women find the heart of their style, it will also tell you the weather, of course!
Enjoy your holiday, and remember, your beauty always begins within- #TheInnerWarrior #TrainYourInnerWarrior.
Peace and love,
Anna
